Omega Speedmaster Project

this is a 1969 861 pre moon Speedmaster that belongs to a friend of mine, I've been sitting on it for a couple of years, Hopefully I will get time this fall (2005) to actually finish the restoration.

two slightly different bezels (used) for Speedmaster the one on the right is thicker and looks like it will fit my 145.022 case the other is thinner.

same bezels with my 145.022 case and the 105.012 case back screwed in place, It fits!

here you can see the physical differences between the 145 and 105 casebacks the 105 caseback is still on the watch case the tool notches are different the 105 caseback is also heavier and visably thicker at the edges
